Massa Dental Center
Dr. James Massa works at the forefront of sleep apnea. A fellowship-trained dentist, advanced in TMJ, cosmetic dentistry and pneumopedics, he deploys the latest technology of VIVOS Therapeutics. VIVOS dental appliances are used at night and partially during the day, harnessing the power of the body’s circadian rhythm. They’re designed to mimic nature by encouraging the body to repair itself slowly. This gradual process won’t trigger inflammation. Over the course of one to two years, the VIVOS dental appliances stimulate sinus formation and grow the airway. This means they don’t simply treat sleep apnea – they potentially eliminate it.
This technology has been researched and developed over the last 20 years and is approved by the FDA as a dental appliance treatment for a medical sleep problem. Now, the VIVOS therapy will begin coming into wider use for sufferers of sleep apnea.
“It’s exciting to be at the forefront of this technology,” Dr. Massa says. “The biggest joy for me is seeing people change their lives for the better. Many of my patients are pain-free for the first time in years. That’s because bodies that are able to fully rest benefit from the restorative hormones that sleep apnea patients lack.”
As a longtime sleep apnea sufferer, Dr. Massa brings a personal enthusiasm to his work. This treatment is his passion, and his entire team understands the life-changing benefits of the VIVOS therapy. “It’s a wonderful thing to be part of this intervention and treatment,” he concludes.
