Olde Florida Chop House
The Olde Florida Chop House inside the Trianon Bonita Bay Hotel is uniquely suited to the Bonita Springs lifestyle. “We have that upscale, but relaxed feel,” says General Manager, Addison Hyre.
The Chop House’s menu focuses on Gulf seafood and Florida-raised meats. There’s a daily surf and turf special as well as a fresh catch of the day. Chef Leonardo Garcia loves to use favorites of local fishermen, like fresh-caught sheepshead. “We only deal with local vendors,” says Chef Garcia. “They play a big role in the design of our menu.”
The restaurant’s interior of rich woods, navy accents, and lush palms, captures the spirit of Southwest Florida with a refined touch. Its servers bring a background in fine dining – many who have come from the Ritz-Carlton. The Chop House is the kind of establishment where gentlemen might wear jackets for dinner, but it’s certainly not required.
