Established over 80 years ago, The Bochner Eye Institute is recognized internationally as the oldest established laser eye surgery treatment centre in North America.
Trained at the prestigious Mayo Clinic, the father-son teams of Harold and Raymond Stein, and Albert and Jordan Cheskes, hold professorships at the University of Toronto. They have collaborated on more than 35 textbooks, including the pioneering book on laser eye surgery, and have treated thousands of patients — many of them eye doctors from around the globe.
Even professional athletes suffering serious eye injuries have put their sight, and their careers, in the hands of Bochner's surgeons. A testatament to their innovative approach and legacy of success, The Bochner Eye Institute serves as the official laser centre for the Toronto Blue Jays, and serves as laser partners for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors.
