As a prosthodontist, Dr. Herman Kupeyan, BSc, DDS, MS and his professional team practice aesthetic, reconstructive and implant dentistry to restore optimal function and aesthetics to their patients. Dr. Kupeyan obtained his dental degree from the University of Toronto. After a few years of practicing general dentistry, he pursued a specialty degree in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Michigan and in 1983 he was registered as a specialist in prosthodontics by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Every person on Dr. Kupeyan’s skilled team displays a unique talent and plays an integral part in providing a life-changing experience to each patient by preserving their oral health and restoring their smile. Dr. Kupeyan has also been involved with research, which has included his participation on a pre-launch team to implement computer-guided surgery for implant dentistry, a technique he uses in many areas of his practice today. Unfortunately, with age, many people tend to lose their teeth as a result of disease or injury, or simply wear and tear. This absence of teeth results in changes to the shape of the person’s mouth and facial appearance, which may ultimately have an effect on one’s confidence and self-esteem. A solution to resolve this situation may include the use of implants.
