In 1976, CPA Bruce Dee founded an accounting firm in Naples, unaware that he was creating the foundation for a thriving family business strengthened by the talents of his son Kelly Dee. Since joining the firm in the mid 1990’s, Kelly has clearly defined his own professional path at Dee & Associates. As a University of Florida undergraduate in the early 1990’s, Kelly did not anticipate that accounting was “in his grand plan.” Shortly thereafter, a significant accounting course changed Kelly’s mindset and his career path. After achieving his Master’s degree and working at an international accounting firm in Jacksonville, Kelly realized that for his own growing family, Naples was indeed home. At that point in time, it seemed only natural that he join his father’s firm, Dee & Associates. Kelly’s unique strengths as a CPA and a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional complement the firm’s focus: income tax, estate tax, trusts and sophisticated tax planning. Tackling issues with different approaches, Kelly and Bruce have created a synergy that results in successful solutions for their individual and small to medium-sized business clients. While implementing the latest technology, Dee & Associates retains that small business feel that clients appreciate.
